Renowned Bangladeshi Artist Wins “Best Artist Award” from Singapore
Mahmud Ali, Singapore Correspondent | March 6: Renowned artist Bais Kadir has once again received international recognition in the global art arena. In September 2025, he participated in the Singapore Art International exhibition organised by KPR and was awarded the “Best Artist Award.” The honour was given for his artwork titled “Cry of the Generation.”

Due to personal reasons, the artist was unable to attend the official award ceremonies held in Singapore or Dhaka to receive the award in person. Later, the organisers sent the award and certificate to him via courier.
Meanwhile, Bais Kadir’s much-discussed 16th solo art exhibition, “Save the Children,” was recently concluded successfully in London. The exhibition was inaugurated on December 11 at the Brady Art & Community Centre Gallery in London. As it was his first solo exhibition in London in nearly 1.5 decades, the event held special significance for the art community. It was also his 11th exhibition in London.

The exhibition featured a range of artworks focusing on children’s rights, their future, and humanitarian crises. Titled “Save the Children,” the exhibition attracted notable attention from art lovers and cultural circles in London and received a strong response from visitors.
In recognition of his long-standing contribution to the field of art, Bais Kadir has received numerous honours both at home and abroad. Recently, he was awarded the Star Performer Award 2025 and the Excellence Achievement Award 2025. He has also been honoured at international platforms in Malaysia and Singapore.
Art critics believe that this latest international recognition has added a new dimension to the artistic journey of Bais Kadir, who is widely known for portraying human emotions and social responsibility through his art.
